Our Policy

We are concerned with epidemiological, molecular, clinical, water and environmental studies of parasitic infections with special focus on water-borne parasites; free living Amoeba, cryptosporidia, giardia and microsporidia.

Objectives:

1)    Studying the relationships between parasites, their hosts and their environment in order to develop novel approaches and tools aimed at diagnosing, preventing, controlling and treating these infections and diseases.

2)     Assessment of water and wastewater contamination with various parasites and evaluation the possibility of its transmission to human.
